A Culture man, a Country man, a man of many talents.

A man who works so hard for Country and Culture.

A man who always puts mob first.

A man who does not like applause and who likes to stand at the back of the crowd.

It’s an honour to know this man

This man is Marcus Ferguson, the man from Bingle Creek.

‘Water Carrier’

A study into the ingeniously crafted water carriers.

Looking at the intricate ways hand held water carriers were made using different natural materials including paper bark or the frond of a Bangalow palm, animal skins including kangaroo, wallaby, possum or kelp or wood.

It never ceases to amaze me how cleaver our ancestors were.
